Rates

I currently do not participate with insurance plans and all services provided are exclusively self pay. I am happy to provide you with a monthly superbill invoice that you may submit to your insurance to seek possible reimbursement, if eligible, for out of network benefits.

I cannot guarantee reimbursement and you are advised to consult your insurance policy for details.

Several advantages of private pay therapy include:

  • A higher level of confidentiality with your child’s personal information

  • The lack of requirement for a mental health diagnosis

  • Complete control and flexibility over the duration and frequency of therapy

  • Connection and consistency with the same therapist and no disruptions in care

  • Small caseload to allow for quick responsive personalized care and support at the time it is needed

  • Ability to receive valuable additional supportive services, that are not otherwise covered by insurance policies

I accept cash, credit cards, or health savings accounts. Parents are responsible for payment that is due at the time of scheduling an appointment. Sliding scale is available based on individual financial needs and limited to select services, please contact me to discuss possible options.

It is a reality that therapy involves an additional financial expense, as well as a time commitment, however the benefits that your child may experience can be truly life enhancing and the investment can be extremely worthwhile. It is helpful to consider what it is costing you in terms, other than money (in your life and relationships) to not get help. What suffering could be alleviated by committing to services now, in order to feel better in the future? It is my goal to make the most of our time together so that your child can be successful as soon as possible.

The Good Faith Estimate

Effective January 1, 2022, a ruling went into effect called the “No Sunrises Act” which requires practitioners to provide a “Good Faith Estimate” to individuals who are uninsured or utilize self-pay. The GFE is only an estimate of the cost of services that are reasonably expected to be provided at the time of beginning treatment to address you and/or your child’s mental health care needs. The estimate is based on the information known at the time the estimate was created and final services or charges may differ. Until I do an initial evaluation and we start to work together, I will not have a clear picture of your specific clinical issues and needs. The GFE does not include any unknown or unexpected costs that may arise during treatment. Additional recommended services may be part of the course of care, but are not reflected in the current GFE. You could be charged more if complications or special circumstances occur. I will collaborate with you throughout your treatment to determine how many sessions and/or services you and/or your child may need to receive the greatest benefit based on presenting clinical concerns. The GFE will be provided in writing and orally to you at least one business day before your scheduled service. The GFE is not an offer or contract for services and does not obligate you to accept the services listed.
